Authorities in Florida confirmed Tuesday that they are in possession of the speedboat that hit and killed teen ballerina Ella Riley Adler, 15, as she water skied with friends last weekend. Adler, who was laid to rest in a heartbreaking funeral on Monday where she was celebrated as a 'star' and a 'force of nature,' died after being struck by the vessel in Key Biscayne close to Miami in what investigators described as a 'hit and a run.' The boat was located outside of a home in Coral Gables in exclusive Hammock Oaks and Lakes gated community where homes regularly sell for seven figures. In a statement, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said that the owner of the boat is co-operating with the investigation. It's not clear if the owner was driving at the time of the tragedy.

Dean McDermott responded to Tori Spelling's divorce filing by submitting his own legal documents on Monday. The 57-year-old actor opposed his estranged wife's bid for sole custody of their children and instead requested joint physical and legal custody, according to court papers obtained by Page Six. The former couple share five children together: Liam, 17, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, seven.

California 's Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom went out of his way Tuesday to defend Prince Harry and Meghan's Archewell Foundation amid a scandal over late payment of a $200 filing fee, something that officials say has now been resolved. Keante Harris, an assistant principal at McAdory Middle School, surrendered to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Wednesday, on a fugitive of justice warrant. His arrest stemmed from the January 2013 murders of Cheryl Colquitt-Thompson, Quinones King, and Rodney Cottrell, a trio of Alabama residents found dead in Clayton County, Georgia The three were lured to a home, forced inside by gunpoint, and tortured by Harris and three other accomplices, the Clayton County Sheriff's Office said in a news release - adding that the three other suspects have been arrested as well. Identified as Kenneth Thompson, Kevin Harris and Darrell Harris. They were all arrested across three states, the sheriff's office said.
